What’s
Going on?

It’s been an amazing month and a half with my friend…my site.
Every day I jump out of bed and check my e-mail for submissions and/or comments
on www.JeffsShorts.com. I visit it at
least once every day for the sole purpose of saying “Hello! How are you? I love
you.” When I come home from work I spend
hours trying different ways to attract writers. So far I’ve joined on-line
writers groups on Yahoo, Google, My Space, Meet Up, and ezboard.
I’ve joined on-line meditation groups including Silva Mind Control, and a
NASCAR group, and gone to two writers group meetings here in
I
thought it might be difficult to find stories to publish, I never thought it
would be this hard to even get submissions. So…
…If you are a writer I want to read your stories.
And if you are a reader? I’m going to bring terrific stories to www.JeffsShorts.com. There are four stories I really like there now.
No matter what happens with submissions …no matter how long it takes…
…I will not compromise
Also many parts of the site are still in development. The Visitors Home Page loads differently in different browsers and on different sized screens. I’m told that there is a java script that controls that. Guess I’ll have to learn Java! I’m discussing a www.JeffsShorts.com updates newsletter with a professional website designer as I do not know how to set it up myself. This is my first Jeff’s Page. I still need to create the About Us section. I’ve got a fabulously talented creative woman designing my logo. Actually it’s done I just haven’t seen it yet.
All in all having my own website is incredibly exciting. I
dream of the possibilities of course and it’s amazing when I see that I’ve had
a visitor to the site from
